Which brings me to the point of this blog: having just gotten married in May, it has become apparent to me that as much as I love this place, I won't live here forever. At some point I will crave the openness and ease of the suburbs when Dave and I start a family. This is still some years away, however, and before I leave I want to absorb as much of the City (yes, New Yorkers, that IS what we call it) as I can, so that when I leave I will not feel as though I have left any stone unturned.
So, I created a bucket list. 100 things to do in San Francisco before I leave. I cheated and left a few things on the list that I have already done, but wouldn't feel right leaving off the list. I found very few resources on the internet to help me create this list, which gave me the idea to blog about it (although thanks to 7X7 Magazine for several of my ideas!). Since everyone I know who lives in San Francisco seems to feel the same way that I do about this place, I figured others would be interested and inspired in reading about my experiences, and maybe even create bucket lists of their own.
